Data and rights
The specifications on Leaner are compiled from manufacturers' own owner's manuals and published materials, then checked, corrected and structured by hand. That compilation, its structure, its corrections and the accompanying photography are the property of Leaner.
The database is protected as a compilation under copyright law, including 17 U.S.C. 103 in the United States, and by database rights in jurisdictions that grant them, including the sui generis database right under Directive 96/9/EC in the European Union and the equivalent right in the United Kingdom. The site's text, layout and images are protected by copyright in their own right.
You may read Leaner, link to it, and quote a small part of it with attribution.
You may not scrape, crawl for extraction, bulk download, republish, resell, or use any part of this database to train a model or to build a competing product, whether by hand, by script or by automated agent. Automated access outside a normal browser session is not permitted.
We monitor for extraction and will pursue infringement, including takedown notices and legal action for damages.
